Who the shoe wash bags suits
A good fit when
Sneakers banging round a drum scuff themselves and dent the machine. Zip them into a bag and they wash as one soft bundle.
The honeycomb bags measure 7.8 x 14 inches and come as a pack of two. The double-layer bags measure 15.7 x 9.4 x 9.4 inches and come as a pack of three: fine mesh inside to protect the shoe, open mesh outside to let it dry. Put a large shoe in a bag on its own.
Know before you buy
- They suit knitted and fabric shoes. Leather shoes do not belong in a washing machine.
- A pair of large shoes will not fit in one bag. Use one bag per shoe.
- Add towels to the load to soften the noise.
