Who the lick mat suits

A good fit when

Spread something soft on it, stick it to the tub wall, and your dog licks while you wash. Licking is slow, repeated work, and it keeps a dog busy through a bath, a nail trim or a brushing.

Silicone mats get chewed and hold smell. This one is 304 stainless steel: it does not bend under teeth and it goes in the dishwasher. The suction base holds on tile, tubs and smooth floors. It comes singly or as a pack of two.

Know before you buy

Suction needs a smooth surface. It will not hold on wood grain or carpet.
It is a lick mat, not a bowl: use soft food such as yogurt, wet food or peanut butter.
It holds a treat, not a meal. A thin layer is enough.
